Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Supervisor of Dictation/Transcription Services, the Data Quality Assurance Clerk is responsible for reviewing and participating in data quality in order to maintain and improve the integrity of the transcribed documents.
This is a regional position and can be located in either of the following:
• Ksyen Regional Hospital, Terrace
• Kitimat Hospital, Kitimat
• Stuart Lake Hospital, Fort St James
• Brunswick Building, Prince George
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
This position's location is flexible to the following communities: Terrace, Kitimat, Fort St James or Prince George. Explore these communities northern communities.

Qualfications
• Grade 12, graduation from a certified program in medical transcription plus one (1) years of related experience or Grade 12, plus one years' recent related experience equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to keyboard at 60 w.p.m.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
