Job Description
Alexis Fiscal Advisory is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our clients in a retail setting, helping customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. As the first point of contact for customers, this role plays a critical part in maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities-
Customer Service:

Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance in a courteous and professional manner.

Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies.

Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Process transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the store’s point-of-sale system.

Product Knowledge and Assistance:

Assist customers in locating products and providing recommendations based on their needs.

Stay knowledgeable about the company’s products, promotions, and services to provide accurate information to customers.

Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring that shelves are stocked and items are well-presented.

Sales and Upselling:

Actively engage with customers to identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling or cross-selling products.

Assist in promoting in-store promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to customers.

Cash Handling and Transaction Management:

Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring proper documentation and processing of payments.

Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and receipts are provided to customers.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels and communicate with the supervisor or manager when restocking is needed.

Assist with inventory counts and product organization to ensure that shelves are properly stocked.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with fellow team members to meet store objectives and ensure smooth operations.

Participate in team meetings to discuss product updates, sales goals, and customer feedback.

Compliance and Store Policies:

Follow all company policies, including those related to returns, customer privacy, and product safety.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the retail space.

Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.

1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills.

Ability to learn and operate the company’s point-of-sale (POS) system quickly and accurately.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs (stocking shelves, moving products).
